The series takes this premise and executes on it perfectly. The demons also have a leader Muzan Kibutsuji who operates as the main antagonist of the series. There's a group created by Kagaya Ubuyashiki called The Demon Slayer Corps. These demon attacks are rare enough that the general population doesn't really think they exist and the government doesn't seem to do anything about it. He hides his demon sister and tries to train her to be good, which is unheard of. Our main protagonist is the young Tanjiro who's taken in as a demon slayer after his family is murdered by a demon and his sister is infected. In this world there are demons who can walk around at night and feed on humans, a bit like how Vampires work in fiction but they have more variation in their design. If you've missed the hype surrounding this series (one of the highest revenue properties on the planet over the past couple years), let me fill you in a bit. I'm excited to see the remaining episodes adapted to anime because they are wonderful in the manga!

That's probably the main thing missing from the manga, although I love B+W art, the colour of the special attacks is super amazing in the show. It's one of the best adaptations of manga I've ever seen, super faithful to the source material and adds a ton of colourful elements to it. I first got into the series through the Anime adaption. This was just a super fun manga series that tells a full satisfying story in 23 volumes.
